I build client sites and client apps in private repos — this is a portfolio of what I can show publicly. ArdinGate.com and ArdinGate Studios are my own properties, and TapStash and Callcard CRM are apps I've built and published myself; together they demonstrate the same hand-coded approach I bring to client work. A custom PHP monorepo serving ardingate.com, studios.ardingate.com, crm.ardingate.com, and a client portal from a single codebase. It is pure PHP with no framework, built on a custom URL router and hand-written CSS, with no third-party page builders, themes, or CMS anywhere in the stack. Every page is hand-coded for the job it does rather than assembled from a template. For prospective clients it demonstrates what that approach delivers: fast-loading pages, full ownership of the code, and a maintainable codebase that is not locked into any vendor or plugin ecosystem.

ArdinGate Studios is the mobile app development arm of ArdinGate LLC. The site presents the Studios brand and service positioning for clients who need native iOS and Android apps built to work alongside their website. Built on the same custom PHP stack as ardingate.com — no page builders, no templates, no CMS.

TapStash
Smart NFC storage labels
Tap an NFC tag stuck on any storage box or tote and TapStash instantly shows what's inside — no barcodes, no manual lookups. Fully offline with no account or subscription: photos, tags, and descriptions all stay on-device. Built with Expo/React Native, on-device SQLite, native NFC scanning, home-screen widgets, and CSV/PDF export for insurance or moving inventories.
Callcard CRM
Contact manager for solo tradespeople and freelancers
A focused customer database built for service professionals — plumbers, HVAC techs, electricians, landscapers — who visit customers on a recurring schedule and need to track job history and follow-ups without enterprise CRM bloat. Every customer record, service log entry, and setting stays on-device: no account, no cloud sync, no subscription. Includes calendar sync for service due dates and Square integration for transaction history.

Do you build mobile apps as well as websites?
Yes, through ArdinGate Studios (opens in new tab), the mobile development side of the business. TapStash and Callcard CRM above are both live, published apps built the same way client app work is: hand-coded, no template app-builder shortcuts.
Can I see websites built for other clients?
Client sites are built in private repositories, so they're not something that can be listed publicly here for confidentiality and IP-ownership reasons. References, a live walkthrough, or code samples are available on request — get in touch.
Do TapStash and Callcard CRM require an account or subscription?
No. Both apps store data locally on-device — no account, no cloud, and no subscription fee for either one. It's the same own-your-data approach behind every ArdinGate project.
